Good location for Temple Meads station and seemed a pretty secure area at night. There is a small Sainsburys down the road for any late night snack cravings you might have. Probably a couple of 15 min walk into old metropolis area and city centre so not too dangerous for average sightseeing/ shopping, however I did assume it will be a little bit of a trek with any heavy purchasing or strolling again after a night out.
